Breathwork Alchemy: The Art of Rewiring with Rodo Escalante

Alchemy is the art of inner navigation through the science of free-diving and musical composition channeled at the moment. 

Rodo teaches a unique breathwork technology focusing on CO₂ expansion, musical composition and a structured reintegration to explore our deepest states of awareness. By using the science of CO₂ and ancient practices of Pranayama, Alchemy transmutes negative mental disorders into positive emotional radiance and teaches how to navigate and balance your mind.

This is a journey inward. You will learn the three basic pranayama adapted breaths, our signature Alchemy breath hold and eventually experience Hypercapnia, or a momentary elevation of CO₂ in the body. 

During this practice, you will slowly and progressively navigate altered mental states and may experience your body’s natural production of endogenous DMT.

About Rodo:

Rodo’s journey started with an early diagnosis of ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism. These neurodivergent challenges exacerbated chronic depression and high-level anxiety. After having counterproductive results with traditional treatments, Rodo explored an alternative path with the teachings of Dr. Joseph Michael Levry, also known as the founder Naam Yoga.

Having found a successful way to manage his mind and mood, Rodo ventured deeper into his practice. He spent the next 15 years mastering the meditation techniques of Gurumuki, Mala and Pranayama. A combination of these empowered him to effectively control all of his mental limitations. Despite finding a successful treatment regimen, it still took Rodo four hours of breathwork and meditation each day to stay neutral and balanced. So he continued his exploration for a faster, more universal solution, one that might overwrite his mental programming more completely.

Drawn to the extreme edge that free-diving offers, he became a professional deep diver (PB -76 mts / 7:19 min). Out in the deep water, he found free-diving presented a bridge into his own depths, and the breath hold quickly presented itself as the key Rodo had been looking for. In 20 minutes of CO₂ mastery he could reach the same emotional and mental alignment as a four hour meditation practice. The water gave meaning to his mission and clarity to his methodology.
